Brightening Blooming Broughty calls out for votes to bag a share of Tesco’s bag fund
Grove Academy, as part of Broughty in Bloom, is bidding to win £4000 from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award. Brightening Blooming Broughty is one of the groups on the shortlist. The top award is £4000 if we get the most votes; £1000 if we don’t!
The group aim to develop both the Grove Community Gardens in the Ferry, bring in and fill more planters, develop the poly-tunnel at Duntrune Community Garden and support the Year of the Young Person by encouraging as many youth groups as possible to get involved in supporting this year’s events related to marking the centenary of WW1 and 100 years of votes for women.
