Covid Case at Grove Academy
Dear Parent / Carer
A single case of confirmed COVID-19 (coronavirus) has been reported in a person who has attended S6 at Grove Academy in Dundee.
As a precaution we are asking all young people who have been contacted through Test and Protect to self-isolate until 5th September.
That means that they must remain at home, and not go outside or meet anyone from other households, until 5th September.
Please be reassured that if you or your young person have not been contacted individually, then your young person has not been identified as a contact of the case, and they can continue to attend school and undertake other activities as normal.

The Public Health team at NHS Tayside together with Test and Protect services have identified all those who may have come into contact with the case, and appropriate advice and support is being provided.
Grove Academy remains open, with staff working in partnership with NHS Tayside, Public Health Scotland to ensure all necessary measures are in place to prevent spread of coronavirus.
We would encourage everyone to continue to follow the latest NHS and Scottish Government advice on helping reduce the spread of coronavirus: ‘FACTS’
- Face coverings in enclosed spaces
- Avoid crowded places
- Clean your hands and surfaces regularly
- Two-metre social distancing
- Self-isolate and book a test if you develop coronavirus symptoms
