Grove Garden App Launch
Funding from Young Scot and Scottish Natural Heritage has allowed a group of Grove pupils to develop a wildflower identification app for use in their community gardens. Today marked the launch of the Grove Garden App at Queen Street Community Garden.
Pupils from Eastern Primary School and Forthill Primary School came to test drive the new app as part of the NHS Green Health Week. They learnt about the wildflowers, sowed wildflower seed and drew green heart designs to show what they loved in nature that was going to be affected by climate change.
Pupils from S1-S5 at Grove Academy led the event and were pleased that all the technology worked as anticipated!
