INDUSTRIAL ACTION – 24 NOVEMBER 2022

The Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) and the Association of Head Teachers and Deputes in Scotland (AHDS) have notified us that they will be holding strike action on Thursday 24 November2022.

From the information available to us, including the information provided to us by EISand AHDS, it will not be possible for us to safely open any of our primary, secondary and special schools to children and young people on Thursday 24 November. This includes Kingspark and Rockwell Learning Centre.

Free school meal payments will be made directly to those who are in receipt of qualifying benefits.

The following early years settings will be open to children and staff: Caird View Nursery, Hill View Nursery, Longhaugh Nursery, Ballumbie Early Years Centre, Fintry Early Years Centre, Rowantree Early Years Centre, Downfield Early Years Centre, Claypotts Early Years Centre, Wallacetown Nursery, Baluniefield Nursery, Coldside Nursery, Law Nursery, Woodlea Children's Centre, Frances WrightNursery, Jessie Porter Nursery, Menzieshill Nursery, BalgayhillNursery, Quarry View Nursery.

Any urgent amendments to these plans will be communicated to you via your nursery or school’s normal communication channels. All settings will reopen to children and young people on Friday 25 November 2022.
