Pupils who are affected will be contacted by their teachers to indicate what days and what times pupils should attend if they are required for their practical activities.
Most pupils who are required for practical activities, will attend either AM (09:00-11:30) or PM (12:45-15:15). There may be occasions where, due to the nature of practical activities, pupils may be requested to attend for a full day. If this is the case pupils should bring a packed lunch and will remain in a class over their lunch break. Pupils attending the school for practical activities should wear normal school uniform. To maintain existing school year group bubbles pupils attending for practical activities should not arrive at the school more than 10 minutes prior to their designated start time.
Previous arrangements such as separation of year groups within the school will still apply. Pupils will also be in school from other year groups who attend the hub for key worker families and vulnerable pupils. Pupils should ensure they follow previous mitigations that applied such as mask wearing, hand sanitising etc and also maintain social distancing. On arrival pupils should enter via the main front door for the school. Pupils who attend in the morning should leave the school building immediately at the end of their session.
Please note that, from 22nd February, staff will not now always be available online at timetabled time for engagement with pupils if they are involved in delivering practical lessons or have increased commitment in the hub as a result.
