International Mathematical Olympiad
Congratulations to former Grove Academy pupil Agnijo Banerjee after his perfect score in this years International Mathematical Olynpiad.
Agnijo won gold at this year's event, and was one of only two competitiors to mark-up a perfect score - the first UK competitior to achieve this feat in 24 years.
Last week Agnijio met Deputy First Minister John Swinney for lunch to reflect on his success, his future and his passion for mathematics. Commenting on his time here at Grove, Agnijo told the Deputy First Minister "Grove Academy has been extremely supportive of me throughtout". Mr Swinney commented that "Agnijo is a credit to Grove Academy".
