Rotary Young Writers’ Competition – open to all pupils in S1-S6
Calling all those who like to write … and are interested in climate change and the environment. This competition is for you!
Your task is to produce a written or typed story in prose entitled, ‘Environment’. The written entry could be fiction or non-fiction, prose, or a poem, as long as the piece relates to the theme.
You are allowed:
- Up to maximum of 550 words for prose entries.
- Up to a maximum of 40 lines for poetry entries.
No pictures/drawings to be part of the entry.
Can be written or typed
If you are interested, then you have a few weeks to produce your writing. Hand your finished writing into your English teacher (or Miss Thomson if you are in S6 and not doing English this year). There is a wee form to fill in to go along with your entry.
Your deadline is Monday 13th December 2021.
Give this a go!
