S1 Intake- August 2024

I am writing to invite you to attend an Open Evening at Grove Academy on Monday 13th November. At this meeting you will have the opportunity to meet Mr Woodcock (Head Teacher) and Mrs Barbour (DHT responsible for Transition) and hear about the plans to help support your Young Person to have a positive and successful transition to Grove Academy in August. We will discuss the plan for year, give some background information about the school and also there will be an opportunity to have a tour of the school. All P7 pupils of our Cluster Primaries will have a tour of school later this month as part of a P7 Cluster day so we would ask that you do not bring your Young Person to this meeting.

To allow the event to run smoothly we are holding two sessions. If you wish to attend, please click on the QR code below and book a slot 5.15pm- 6.15pm or 6pm- 7pm by 5pm on Thursday 9th November.

Key information about the transition programme will be displayed on our website throughout the year and we would invite you and your Young Person to explore our website which will be the main source of information for pupils and parents over the next few months.
