Update for pupils who have selected a College option as part of their Senior Phase Curriculum
From 7th September all pupils who had chosen a college option were due to start their college course in their designated timetable slots. This has followed induction days and online working since the return to school.
However, the Scottish Government published new guidelines for College and Universities a few days ago which have implications for Senior Phase school pupils attending Colleges and Universities as part of the school curriculum.
As a result of these new guidelines it has been agreed between the College and Dundee City Council , that the plans for commencing College will be postponed for the week beginning 7th September to provide an opportunity for Dundee & Angus College to consider and implement the new guidelines. As a result, pupils who have college on their timetable should continue to work remotely during their timetabled time for the week beginning 7th September.
The college have indicated that additional work will be put on Teams.
