Volunteer Fair

On Friday 26th July the Volunteering Ambassadors of Grove Academy organised a Volunteering Fair in the Assembly Hall at lunch time. 15 organisations attended with a huge turnout of pupils making the event an overall success. Many pupils gained an insight into volunteering within their local community, and many signed up to various volunteering groups in Dundee. Organisations included; The Brae, Cats Protections, Discoverin’ Bairns, Head Start, Leisure and Culture, Volunteering within the school e.g. Meru Beads and many more. We hope this Fair has opened pupil’s eyes to helping others and building on life skills. We would like to urge all pupils to get involved in whatever way they can.
