We are excited to hear that Grove Academy's Niamh Harper has been selected as one of the 10 finalists for the MUSTO #SailorSearch competition. 

The #SailorSearch competition offers sailors aged 21 and under the chance to become a MUSTO youth sailing ambassador, with support valued at £5,000. The winner will also get the exciting opportunity of 1-on-1 training from a MUSTO ambassador and gain valuable promotional exposure via MUSTO channels.  The finalists have fought hard to achieve excellence in their chosen sailing classes, and now they have been chosen as finalists for the global MUSTO #sailorsearch competition.

Niamh said that "Winning the competition would mean a huge amount in terms of campaign support to travel to and compete in the World Championships in Australia next year, gaining access to top level coaching and support from Musto.  MUSTO is a highly respected brand that is known for its innovation, quality and attention to detail.  As an ambassador I would hope to encourage, motivate and inspire youth and  junior sailors, especially the girls, to compete in this fantastic sport, while still striving to be the best I can be in my own sailing. My goal for 2017 is to qualify for the British team to represent the UK at the 420 World Championships in Australia and MUSTO support would help turn this aspiration into a reality"

The 10 finalists have the chance to win £5000 worth of sponsorship, become a MUSTO Ambassador and get training from the world’s best sailors.  Whoever gets the most votes wins!
