RHS Award For Grove Growers
Congratulations to Shiell St and Queen St Community Gardens on winning the RHS Discretionary Award in the category of Involving Children & Young Adults.
In 2018, five new Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom discretionary awards were introduced. The discretionary awards were presented to:
- Gardening in a Changing Climate: Bonnie Blantyre, South Lanarkshire
- Growing Communities: Brighter Bervie, Aberdeenshire
- Parks & Green Spaces: Joint winners: Lanark in Bloom, South Lanarkshire (Beautiful Scotland Group); Friends of Starbank Park, City of Edinburgh (It’s Your Neighbourhood group)
- Wild About Gardens: Lauder in Bloom, Scottish Borders (Beautiful Scotland group)
- Involving Children and Young People: Joint winners:
- Grow Your Own Way, Renfrewshire
- Shiell St and Queen St Community Gardens, Dundee City
